Moby Dick - Rehearsed
by Orson Welles
adapted from Herman Melville
starring 17 time Emmy nominee and 5 time Emmy-winner Gerald Quist
directed by Harry White and Blake Fisher
In Moby Dick - Rehearsed, a troupe of Shakespearean actors throw aside the script of King Lear during a rehearsal and at the whims of their leading man, attempt to stage the entire tale of the white whale in one rehearsal.
This play was staged alongside Love, Loss and What I Wore by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron. This repertory series brings together two distinct voices in American storytelling, both based on novels. Welles’s theatrical intensity about masculinity and power dynamics meets Ephron’s witty and heartfelt lens on womanhood, offering audiences two unforgettable nights of theater.
