The Cast

ELLIOT WHITE (Superman / Clark Kent) is co-Artistic Director of Foster Cat Productions. Recent successes include a perfect soft scramble, a really nice penne alla vodka with an alright side salad, and he once even used an entire bag of avocados before they went bad! Training: Atlantic Theater Company and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. @elliotwhite_k

EMILY JONES (Lois Lane) is thrilled to be making her triumphant return to the stage, falling in love with an alien after an unsuccessful year on Hinge. When she’s not pining for Superman’s love, she’s producing pretty much anything that needs bringing to life.

Emily is the founder of Type E Creative, mother to a gorgeous yorkie poo named Goose Jones, and a firm believer that the greatest Tony Awards opening number was in 2009.

Despite being wildly allergic to cats, she’s had a blast working with Foster Cat Productions on It’s a Bird… It’s a Plane… It’s Superman! FINALLY a musical for the nerds with a song in their heart (don't bring up Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark).

HARRY WHITE (Max Mencken) herniated 3 discs at the age of 20, underwent successful back surgery, and is now living what some would call a successful life. Go birds!

COOPER MCADOO (Dr. Abner Sedgewick) started studying ballet at the age of 6, but transitioned to ice-skating after a harsh comment from a top performer in an unrelated field. Meet him after the show for a tarot reading!

JALEY HOYT (Sydney) is very excited to do her second show with Foster Cat Productions after a sold out run of “archy & mehitabel”! She has been in many an improv show, and has done a myriad of stage shows in the past before her move to Hollywood in 2022. (Urinetown, The Addams Family, Gruesome Playground Injuries, Cabaret, Gypsy, Xanadu, etc). She is currently a voice actor for video games and animation, and a character performer for Universal Studios. She loves laughing loudly and eating breakfast and going to the beach and playing Dungeons and Dragons and hanging out with her two cats. (She’s also seeking a manager or representation for TV/Film… ya know, if you know someone).

WILL FULGINITI (Jim and others) Usually actor bios are full of previous works done by the artist. Not here and not I. You missed out those creative endeavors but you won’t miss this one- because you are here…now. Pay close attention and you just might find yourself ‘in the moment’.  1, two, 3, four. I declare that I am an actor. One that prefers to have the depths of humanity’s deepest and darkest secrets revealed. Let the magic begin.

JULIA MCCAMMON (Mother Lynskey and others) is a god, stud, and a legend. She is also an actor, comedian, and a fraud. Julia is in the show and happy you are too. Well, you’re not in the show. Julia is. And Julia is happy about that.

TROY BARBOZA (Perry White and others) Born in the 1900s, Troy hails from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. You may have seen him recently as Aaron (OPEN TO IT) or as a Vulcan Ensign in Star Trek: Red Alert (Fan Fest Nights at USH). Or maybe you haven't! And that's ok too. But if you'd like to see more, collaborate with Troy, or represent him, here is a good place to start: linktr.ee/thetroybarboza

JENA ZIOMEK (Banghart and others) is thrilled to be making her return to musical theater after rumors of her being trapped in a well for the past seven years. You can find more of her work on the show “Manhunt” on AppleTV+, specifically the third episode. She’s done other stuff too, but she has recently found out she gets royalty checks from that one so she’s pushing it hard. Anyways, Jena is currently seeking representation, and she hopes you enjoy the show.

RAPHAEL BERGLAS (Bank Robber and others), a 2022 BFA in Acting graduate from SUNY Purchase, is both performer and co-director of It’s a Bird… It’s a Plane… It’s Superman! Some past roles include Mercutio/Bottom in Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey’s LIVE Tour and Bigfoot in Foster Cat’s Desire Caught by the Tail. Currently, he’s collaborating with Dr. Seuss Enterprises on an exciting new live-action project…

FOSTER CAT PRODUCTIONS (Producer) is a Los Angeles based theatre company, founded by alumni of Atlantic Theater Company's conservatory program. Our mission is to shine a light on lesser known works from great artists. FCP is dedicated to exploring pieces of theatre that join the actors and audience together, striving to challenge the status quo.

The name Foster Cat Productions is inspired by the artistic team's love for fostering sick and stray cats and finding them forever homes (~30 so far)!

Last Summer, the foster cats had a sold-out run of Power Plays by Elaine May and Alan Arkin at the iconic Groundlings theatre. Following that they remounted their inaugural production of Stephen Sondheim’s Putting It Together which was staged as a benefit for Best Friends Animal Society where we raised over $800 in one night!

Other notable works include An Evening of One-Acts by Ethan Coen which was mentioned in the LA Times, the world premiere of a new translation of Pablo Picasso’s Desire Caught by the Tail, and a successful 6-week run of their Festival of Jewish Playwrights, where they spotlighted more work by Shel Silverstein, Wendy Wasserstein and Ethan Coen.
